I called a couple of banks and they said that they don't have a list and
to just check the internet. But that just gets me to square one. The listings on the net are very vague and have misinformation that lead me nowhere. I'm going crazy...Please helpHow can obtain information on foreclosed/REO homes for sale by the bank?
check your local newspaper they usually advertise them in there. Also you could call your local courthouse, their the ones that do that sort of thing. (auctioning houses off) Believe me I know because a x of mine did that with our house. How can obtain information on foreclosed/REO homes for sale by the bank?
Call a couple of banks and ask for a list. some banks charge a fee for the list but most do not.
Check with a local real estate agent. Nearly all foreclosed properties are either sold through agents, or are listed with the local MLS.
You can get free listings of government backed forclosures (FHA %26amp; VA) at http://www.hud.gov
Hi Mike,
You need to talk to someone in their loss mitigation department. I also saw a list of contact info for every bank's loss mitigation department floating around on the internet.
